What’s the longest book you’ve ever read?
The longest and best book I ever read is the Bible. Bet you didn’t see that one coming!
Not only is it a good read it is an amazing prompt. Most of my best thinking, knowledge and insights stem from the Word of God. If this is a new revelation to you—that the Words of God are actually written in a book, hold on for a moment.
It gets even better.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was God in the Beginning. john 1:1-2
Of course many already know the end of the story and it is that Jesus was and is the Word and will have the Final word, someday. But it gets even better.
Through him all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life and that life was the light of men. John 1:3
If this is new to you, I hope you are really excited about now and ready to dive into the Words which Spoke everything into creation and sustains it all. Genesis one will explain how that went. The rest of scripture helps explains how nothing God speaks will return void. Its literally impossible for Him not to create. And what he creates is with the intention of bringing salvation to all of us. So therefore,if he is your maker and spoke you into creation you can become a tertiary voice of God to take a hand in this creation process, perhaps through your writing or voice in another media.
I do hope this will boost your confidence in your writing. You know if God created you to be a writer and when he puts it into your heart to share something. Get into that flow and God will eventually use you to speak to someone somewhere – In Jesus Name.
