From Woodstock up: The Journey

This journey by blog is based on my recently published book, which I am so excited to share with you all! The book, “From Woodstock Up to Jerusalem-Following the Guideposts to Healing and Fullness in Christ” is a powerful blend of personal testimony, biblical teaching, and spiritual revelation, and will take you on a journey through Israel where God uncovers deep truths about our faith. Beginning with a reflection on the New Covenant during a flight to Tel Aviv, I explore each spiritual discipline as I was enabled to see them:

*The New Covenant

*Personal Sacrifice

*Healing

*Righteousness

*Suffering

*Promises that are True: Hope Produces Courage and Perseverance

*Obedience

*How the Blessing of God is Released; the Healing prayer model

*Persecution in the Church

*Forgiveness—which is Everything that Characterizes Who Christ is.

Each of these was revealed then written about in alignment with life experiences, starting from my rebellious youth at Woodstock to a transformative encounter with Christ, and 50 years since of crazy mountainous adventures and bottomless valleys.

To those who do choose to read it I promise you will witness the struggles of disobedience, the power of divine correction, and the profound joy of living a life surrendered to Christ. With thought-provoking questions offered for reflection at the end of each chapter. this book serves as a guide for those seeking a deeper relationship with God.

But what comes after reading such a guidebook? When the dust settles and the lessons have all been learned then comes the difficult part of living them out day by day. It is the sheer daily grind of life that often pulls us back down into the valley where we cannot remember what it is we are supposed to do now. Thats when we need a community such as this blog proposes to become.

I offer this blog both to readers of the book and those who already understand the ins and outs of our deep and sometimes perplexing faith through your own lives and years of study. And if you’re on a new faith journey and need the keys to spiritual growth for the first time, please walk alongside me and discover how God’s hand moves through every chapter of life, leading from brokenness to redemption, and the joy of living in the fullness of Christ.

I hope that this blog will become a community of like minded seekers who have seen all sides of life, are either striving and seeking counsel, or are thriving and can share their own God given wisdom!
